Privacy Impact Assessment

A Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) is a process which helps assess privacy risks to individuals in the collection, use and disclosure of information, normally on a project or solutions basis. PIAs help identify privacy risks, foresee problems and bring forward solutions. If there are concerns about the privacy impact of proposed or implemented solutions in your organisation, a CNS PIA is a rapid and pragmatic way of bringing these concerns to the fore and proposing effective solutions.
